Vocab Master is designed to help you create, study, and review vocabulary. Most learning content you create is stored locally on your device. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use the app.
Information You Provide
The app lets you create vocabulary sets, add words and meanings, track study progress, choose preferences, and use learning features. This information is stored on your device unless a feature clearly requires a third-party service, such as purchases or advertising.
AI Meaning Suggestions
Vocab Master includes an optional AI-assisted meaning suggestion feature. When available, the language model runs on your device after the required model files are downloaded. Words entered for suggestions are processed to generate the requested result and are not used by us to build user profiles.
Text-to-Speech
The app may use on-device text-to-speech resources to speak vocabulary answers during practice. This processing is used only to provide audio playback for the learning session.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, the app may request permission to send reminders or learning-related notifications. You can change notification permissions in your device settings.
Purchases and Premium Features
Vocab Master may offer premium plans or in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by the applicable app store or payment provider. We do not receive your full payment card details. The app may store purchase or entitlement status so premium features can be unlocked.
Advertising
The app may display ads through Google Mobile Ads or similar advertising services. These services may collect or receive device identifiers, ad interaction data, approximate location, diagnostics, and other information as described in their own policies. You can manage ad personalization through your device or Google account settings.
Data Stored on Your Device
Vocabulary sets, words, meanings, onboarding status, preferences, progress, practice scheduling data, AI model state, and premium entitlement state may be stored locally on your device. Removing the app may delete locally stored data, depending on your platform and device backup settings.
Third-Party Services
Vocab Master may rely on third-party services for app distribution, purchases, advertising, crash diagnostics, operating-system services, and model or asset downloads. These services process data according to their own privacy policies and platform rules.
Children's Privacy
Vocab Master is a general vocabulary learning app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a mobile learning app. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
- You can edit or delete vocabulary sets inside the app.
- You can disable notifications in your device settings.
- You can manage ad personalization in your device or Google settings.
- You can uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice inside the app or through the app store listing.
